1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines acceptable activities and prohibited behaviors while using Webhostera hosting services. The purpose of this policy is to protect the integrity of our network and ensuring the safety of all customers.

All customers must comply with this policy to maintain service access. Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension.

2. Prohibited Content

You may NOT host, distribute, or promote content that violates international law or our ethical standards. This includes, but is not limited to:

Zero Tolerance Content

  • Child exploitation (CSAM) or abusive material.
  • Phishing pages, scam sites, or financial fraud impersonation.
  • Malware, spyware, trojans, ransomware, or viruses.
  • Terrorist propaganda, hate speech, threats, or incitement of violence.

Additionally, we prohibit:

  • Copyright-infringing material (DMCA violations).
  • Fake giveaway pages or deceptive marketing schemes.
  • Adult content without strict legal compliance and age verification.

3. Prohibited Activities

Customers may not use Webhostera infrastructure to engage in harmful activities:

  • Network Abuse: Performing hacking, brute-force attacks, port scanning, or IP spoofing.
  • Crypto Mining: Use of servers for cryptocurrency mining (Bitcoin, Monero, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
  • Botnets: Running botnets, C&C servers, or traffic flooding tools.
  • Spam: Sending mass unsolicited emails (Spam) or hosting "link farms" for SEO manipulation.
  • Fraud: Using hosting for fake review generation, click fraud, or misleading impersonation.

4. Resource Abuse

To ensure fair performance for all users on Shared and Cloud environments, the following are not allowed:

  • Excessive CPU, RAM, or Disk I/O usage that degrades server performance.
  • Running background daemons or long-running processes on Shared Hosting.
  • High-frequency web scraping or aggressive automation bots.
  • Hosting large file dumps, video streaming portals, or torrent trackers/seeders.

5. Account Termination

Webhostera retains the right to investigate any reported violation. If a violation is confirmed, we may:

  • Remove the offending content immediately.
  • Suspend the account pending investigation.
  • Terminate the account permanently without refund.

6. Reporting Abuse

If you witness a violation of this policy or suspect a site hosted by us is engaging in illegal activity, please report it immediately:

All reports are kept confidential and reviewed within 24 hours.

7. Changes to Policy

Webhostera reserves the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time to reflect emerging security threats or legal requirements. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of these changes.
